Application Status:

You may check your status online using the user ID and password provided by Graduate Studies and Research at MYSJSU. Your user ID and password will be created one week after you submit your application.

Degree Evaluation:

Your file is complete when all necessary documents are received by the Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations (GAPE) office. The University evaluator will verify that your undergraduate degree is equivalent to a U.S. four-year bachelor’s degree and that the grades for the last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units (approximately the last two academic years) are equivalent to approximately a 3.0 GPA or better (on a 4.0 scale). Graduate Admissions and Program Evaluations (GAPE) cannot pre-evaluate any degree prior to admission. An applicant must go through the formal application process to find out if the degree earned is equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree.

Your completed application is then referred to the Lucas Graduate School of Business for final review and an admissions decision. The Lucas Graduate School of Business office reviews your transcript(s), grade point average, GMAT score, and statement of purpose. Applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Applicants who are denied admission are encouraged to reapply after raising their GPA or GMAT scores.
