The Evolution of Environmental Management at Honda: A Dynamic Capabilities View
The global auto industry is undergoing massive and remarkable changes, and Asia’s auto makers, especially Honda, are among those leading the charge. This paper concerns the evolution of Honda’s environmental management; how it emerged, and how it was organized, managed and carried out. The paper integrates cognition, dynamic capabilities, and governance in an increasingly global and environmentally-conscious auto industry
