Graduate mentors work mentoring a lower-division MAS GE course that serves many firstyear
students. Through this program, graduate students help increase undergraduate student retention by
better preparing students for success in college. Mentors have the opportunity to teach,
provide workshops, and directly support undergraduates in a number of different ways.
