State University Fee
Graduate students taking between 0.1 and 6.0 units:
$1,250 per semester; $2,600 per academic year (+ campus fees of $600 per semester)
Graduate students taking 6.1 or more units:
$2,100 per semester; $4,200 per academic year (+ campus fees of $600 per semester)
Nonresident University Fees (U.S. and Foreign)
Nonresident Tuition, in addition to other fees charged all students: $400 per unit. The total fee paid per term will be determined by the number of units taken, including those in excess of fifteen.

The Department offers several teaching associate (TA) positions for graduate students who have been in the program for at least one semester; in these positions, graduate students instruct lower division undergraduate students in beginning acting courses and introductory courses in video-television technology. Some faculty teaching high-enrollment courses employ graduate assistant (GA) positions for help with grading, working with class sections and other pedagogical assistance. See further information.
