South Bay Womyn's Conference
The South Bay Womyn’s Conference (SBWC) partners San José State University students with community members to create a safe space for all ages that promotes learning, expression, and education. We hope to unite individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicity’s, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
The SBWC in collaboration with SJSU Women’s Resource Center, MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center, LGBT Resource Center, and the César E. Chávez Community Action Center, to organize this event. Conference attendees will be encouraged to participate in open dialogue through panels, workshops, and a Q&A following the Keynote Speaker. The conference will welcomes those who are interested in other forms of expression and outreach through our artist exhibit and vendor fair. SJSU V-Day
Educates and entertains SJSU with information about violence against women and girls. Produces the annual benefit play the Vagina Monologues and raises approximately $4,000 for global charities and the local rape crisis line and domestic violence shelters.

Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Awareness Week
Domestic Violence Awareness Week will be held October 22-25, 2012 in partnership with the Women's Resource Center, Wellness and Health Promotion, the Office of Student Conduct and Ethical Affairs, Men Creating Change, and WOWI. -
