Previously known as the College of Professional and Global Education, our name reflects the academic units within the college: the School of Information (iSchool) and the Department of Applied Data Science (ADS). This connection highlights the significant impact of these departments on society. The Student Research Journal (SRJ), governed by graduate students at San José State University’s School of Information, published its 30th issue this week. The publication follows a 15th anniversary celebration held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, celebrating the journal’s longstanding commitment to empowering student scholarship in library and information science.
SJSU School of Information students were recognized with 2025 REFORMA Scholarships for their dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion in librarianship.
