CPGE RSCA Research Supports

CPGE is committed to establishing a strong and supportive research culture, providing RSCA-active faculty with services to ensure faculty success, and promoting student research in the college.  The college offers CPGE faculty several services and programs to help advance their research and scholarly activities. These include: 

  • Editing Services - to support faculty with editing services to improve a nearly completed piece of writing to increase its chances of publication, or an initial or secondary draft of a grant proposal, journal article, book chapter, white paper, or other writing related to a faculty member’s research and scholarship. Faculty can request up to 50 pages double spaced each semester.  Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be awarded until the funding has been expended. 
  • Statistical Consulting- to provide faculty with expert consultation on statistical analysis. Faculty members can request up to 5 hours per semester. Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be awarded until the funding has been expended.
  • Grant-Writing - to support faculty in developing and drafting their grant funded project proposals. Faculty can request up to 20 hours of grant-writing support per semester. Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be awarded until the funding has been expended.
  • Summer Research Stipends - to stimulate and encourage faculty RSCA-related activities, such as gathering and analyzing research data and grant writing and other research writing during the summer. Applications are due March 15th.
  • Graduate Research Assistant Support- to help faculty advance faculty research projects and to give students paid opportunities to engage in research activities that support faculty research. Fall applications due: July 15th; Spring applications due: December 15th; Summer applications due: April 15th.
  • CPGE Article Processing Charges (APCs) – to help offset article processing charges for publishing in peer-reviewed open-access publications. Applications are accepted throughout the year and will be awarded until the fund has been expended.
