Shaun Fletcher
Shaun Fletcher is an assistant professor of public relations and sport communications
and serves as an advisory board member for the Institute for the Study of Sport, Society
and Social Change. He comments on issues of race and gender in sport, politics and
mental health.
Prior to arriving at SJSU, he led internal communications for Apple Retail and Volkswagen Group of America. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from San José State University, a master’s degree in interpersonal communications from the University of Central Florida and a doctoral degree in intercultural communication from Howard University.
