The Advanced Certificate in Strategic Management of Digital Assets and Services program provides a high level of customization to fit your interests, changing job responsibilities, and career objectives. Quickly gain the practical skills needed to integrate and manage digital and physical assets and services. Three pathways are offered, each with master’s level courses focusing on a specialization in the information profession. Advanced Certificate program students select three courses (nine units) from one of the three pathways.
This program is exclusively online, enabling information professionals to continue working and immediately apply their newly acquired skills and knowledge on the job.
Advanced Certificate Pathways
- Digital Asset Management
Courses focus on digital content management, digital curation tools and services, and new digital media characteristics. - Information Governance, Assurance and Security
This pathway concentrates on the governance of digital information and data in organizational and networked contexts. - Data Analytics and Data Driven Decision Making
Students learn how to harness big data, visualize information, and use social media for competitive and company research.

Applications are accepted twice a year for admission in the fall or spring semester.
