About Us

In support of San José State’s mission, the  Budget and Risk Management Office:

  •  Provides professional expertise, guidance and support in developing and administering the university’s operating and capital budgets
  •  Reports the university’s annual budget plan
  •  Monitors, analyzes and reports on the university’s financial performance
  •  Works collaboratively with the campus community to promote the university’s financial strength and integrity
  • Consult with the campus community on Risk Mitigation implementation strategies
  • Work with the CSU Office of Risk Management and the Office of General Counsel to investigate and manage claims against the university
