Health Science Scholarships
Health Science Scholarships Contributions from our alumni, faculty, and community partners provide scholarships for current Health Science students. Eligible undergraduates and MPH students are encouraged to apply!
Health Science Living Legacy Scholarships
This scholarship provides $1,000 to one undergraduate and one MPH student each year. Applicants must be in good academic standing, have at least two semesters of study ahead, and demonstrate commitment to the principles of the SJSU Health Science Department. The scholarship is awarded each fall semester.
Health Science Travel Scholarships
Several different scholarship opportunities are available each year for students to attend professional conferences. In 2012-13, we anticipate being able to offer scholarships to help with the costs of travel to the following meetings:
• Society for Public Health Education Annual Meeting, October 25 – 27, 2012, San Francisco
• American Public Health Association Annual Meeting, October 27 – 31, 2012, San Francisco
• Health Education Advocacy Summit, March 2-4, 2013, Washington DC
• Society for Public Health Annual Meeting, April 17-19, Orlando, Florida
Scholarships Awarded by SJSU
SJSU awards many scholarships each year. Some are awarded by the Financial Aid Scholarship Committee, and others by various groups across campus, including the College of Applied Sciences and Arts.
