Health Science Peer Advisors
Health Science Peer Advisors
Health Science peer advisors are trained student volunteers who act as ambassadors to the program for new and continuing students. The HS peer advisors are an integral part of the advising services offered through the undergraduate program in Health Science. Please think of HS peer advisors as your first stop for advising!
HS peer advisors can provide assistance with the following:
- Choosing among the five Health Science Options/Concentrations
- Changing your Health Science Option or Concentration
- Completing an academic plan
- Using the Health Science degree roadmaps
- Completing a (practice) Health Science Major form
- Declaring a minor in CAHP, GERO, HS, or HPRF
- Completing the HS permission code survey
- Preparing for Faculty Advising Week appointments
- Learning about Health Science student organizations
- Finding the right advising services on campus
HS peer advisors meet with students in the Department of Health Science office (MacQuarrie Hall Room 407) or the CASA Student Success Center (MacQuarrie Hall Room 533).
