Minors in the Undergraduate Program
The undergraduate program in Health Science offers four minors:
- Minor in Complementary and Alternative Health Practices (CAHP)
- Minor in Gerontology (GERO)
- Minor in Health Professions (HPRF)
- Minor in Health Science (HS)
Please note: According to the SJSU catalog, students who choose to pursue a minor must complete “12 units of course work completely distinct and separate from the course work in one’s major.” As a result, students should ensure that the prefix (e.g., HS, NUFS, SCWK) for classes taken toward a minor are different than the prefix for their major.
