Academic Notice Advising

Academic Notice Advising (previously known as Probation Advising) can be accessed by students on Academic Notice, Major Notice, and/or Progress Notice. A student's Notice category will be shared directly with the student by a CoS-SSC Advisor via their SJSU email address.

Major Notice is based upon the Policy on Academic Standing in the Undergraduate Major, Revised College of Science [pdf].

College of Science Students on Academic Notice, Major Notice, and/or Progress Notice are invited to participate in the Academic Notice Program Canvas Course. 

• • The Academic Notice Program Canvas Course outlines program details, assigned CoS-SSC Advisors to complete Academic Notice Advising, and Academic Notice resources to support a student's academic achievement at SJSU
  • Students must login to their SJSU Canvas account to view their invitation to the Academic Notice Program Canvas Course
