Welcome to International Gateways
Since 1975, we have helped thousands of students from over 60 countries who come to San Jose State University for academic, professional, or personal reasons. Whether you want to improve your English or take SJSU classes, we’re here to help you reach your goals. All of our faculty have advanced degrees and many years of experience.
Information about COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements
If you are intending to study at International Gateways in Fall 2021 Session 2 or Spring 2022, you are required to certify your vaccination status and submit proof of your vaccination record before you arrive on campus. San Jose State University has announced that students, faculty and staff must be vaccinated by September 30, 2021 against COVID-19 if they are accessing campus facilities, regardless of FDA approval of the available vaccines approved for emergency use.
Students and all others who access campus and other SJSU facilities and have not verified they are fully vaccinated will be subject to mandatory COVID-19 testing. You will not need to test after you have provided the proper documentation verifying your full COVID-19 vaccination. Testing will occur on campus — or at off-campus worksites, if applicable — at no cost on a weekly basis.
For more information, please see SJSU COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements or email IG Admissions at email@example.com
Starting Fall 2021, ATP will hold full-time in-person classes on the SJSU campus. This means that F-1 students who would like to maintain their current Active SEVIS status will need to take their classes on the SJSU campus throughout their enrollment. IG will also be able to issue the Initial I-20 form for new F-1 students to join ATP in person in Fall 2021. Non-F-1 students may enroll on a full and part-time basis from both the U.S. and their home countries.
