Health Plan Enrollment
Benefits-eligible employees use PeopleSoft's Self Service online enrollment called eBenefits to enroll and make benefit plan changes. eBenefits is available via MySJSU. All you need is an active MySJSU User ID and password. If you have not yet received a User ID and password, please contact Information Support Services at 408-924-1530. Make sure you include your full name, department and SJSU ID.
Before enrolling or making any benefit plan changes online, you must sign and submit the California State University Electronic Signature Authorization Form(PDF) to your benefits service representative in Human Resources. This form enables you to use your electronic signature for enrollment and for any other online transactions you may conduct with eBenefits in the future.
To enroll or makes changes to a benefit plan, log in to MySJSU and navigate to Self Service. Under the Self Service-Benefits area, click the New Enrollment hyperlink to enroll or click the Life Events hyperlink to make plan changes.
While you’ll be able to log into the system and make benefit changes before you turn in your signed agreement, those changes won’t be final until they’re approved by your benefits service representative. Your benefits service representative cannot approve your changes until he/she receives your signed California State University Electronic Signature Authorization form.
