Position & Job Reporting Structure Report

This report displays the reporting structure for an employee’s position and job data. If the reports_to data is blank, or if you need to change to the reports_to information, please submit a Position Management Action form to classcomp@sjsu.edu.

To run this report:

  1. Log into PeopleSoft HCM/MySJSU
  2. Click Main Menu
  3. Click SJSU Human Resources
  4. Click Workforce Administration
  5. Click Position & Job Reporting Struc
  6. Enter, Select or Create a Run Control ID
  7. Enter the DeptID you wish to run the report for, then click the search button
    1. Click the Select to include Sub Departments check  box to run the report for all departments under the specified Deptid; Leave the box unchecked to run it for only the selected DeptID
  8. Click Run
  9. Enter PSUNX as the Server Name
  10. Select the Type of Web and the Format of PDF
  11. Click OK
  12. Click the Report Manager hyperlink
  13. Click Refresh until the report appears as a hyperlink
  14. Click the title of the report in the description field
  15. The report displays
