MOSAIC Station is a podcast operating out of the MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center at San Jose State University. We are made up of students and a faculty member, and we are interested in bringing relevant, honest, and necessary information to the campus community and beyond.

SPECIAL SERIES: Men Creating Change
We are proud to announce a special series that will be feature in the MOSAIC Station feed. Men Creating Change is a student organization at SJSU that is centered around men helping men understand the complexities of modern day masculinity, discuss and criticize patriarchy, and help build a better understanding of healthy masculinities. As part of the organization, student host Aarron Booker and staff advisor Chris Yang will be releasing a series of podcast episodes where we discuss a wide variety of topics related to masculinity which draws from lived experiences, academic research, and pop culture deep dives.

This time, we dive head first into the idea of socialization and talk about where we learn what we know and believe and how our context impacts our beliefs as men.

We are proud to host a panel collaboration between the African American Black Student Success Center and Student Involvement at SJSU as part of Black History Month. This panel sits down to discuss what it's like to navigate the world while black and dealing with the day to day realities of injustice and danger. The panel features Milan Balinton, the director of the African American Community Service Agency; Dr. Theodorea Berry, department chair of African American Studies at SJSU; and Evelyn of the Internets, digital storyteller, filmmaker, and online personality.
