The program focuses on the perspectives of Asian Americans and their contributions in the development of the United States.
The program examines Asian history through a variety of lenses.
The program will acquaint students with the histories, traditional cultures and contemporary conditions of Asian countries and societies. Courses may be selected from anthropology, art, business, foreign languages, geography, history, music philosophy, political science, and religious studies.
The program is a multi- and interdisciplinary program that examines the historical, cultural, and social formations of power and inequality in the United States.
