Tours are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Main Campus Tours

8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Tower Hall Lawn

Learn what SJSU has to offer from a student’s perspective and take a general tour of main campus led by our Spartan Student Ambassador team. Tours depart every 5 minutes and are 30 minutes in length. Last tour departs at 11:30 a.m.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Library

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at MLK Library

Explore the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library using a map and your smartphone! Feel free to ask our Library Ambassadors any questions that you have.

University Housing Services Residence Halls/Apartment Tours

9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Residence Halls

Please report to the front entrance of any Residence Hall you wish to tour.

Student Wellness Center Tours

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Student Wellness Center

Please join us over at the Student Wellness Center and sign up for tours to view our Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Wellness and Health Promotion area.

Spartan Recreation and Aquatic Center (SRAC)

8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at SRAC

The Spartan Recreation staff will be onsite to show guests around our state-of-the-art recreation center and answer any questions.

Hammer Theatre Center

Tour times: 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., 11:40 a.m. - 12:10 p.m., 12:20 p.m. - 12:50 p.m., 1:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. 

Hammer Theatre is located one block from campus at 101 Paseo de San Antonio

The Hammer Theatre will be open for all guests to visit our lobby from 10:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th for Admitted Spartans, families, and their guests. Meet our staff and student assistants and learn about events happening at the Hammer and our connection to SJSU and the City of San Jose. We will have tours of the theatre at 11:00 a.m., 11:40 a.m., 12:20 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Attend a tour and receive limited edition Hammer swag!
