Reinstatement

Reinstatement is the process that allows students who were previously academically disqualified from SJSU to return as regular students. Once reinstated, students can continue taking courses and working toward completing their degree.

Readmission

Readmission is the process of applying to return to SJSU as a regular student. You must apply by the deadline for the semester you plan to return and meet the required admission requirements.

Review the CSU eligibility requirements for admission before applying.

*You may need to begin the readmission process before completing reinstatement in order to meet the application deadline.
