About the Project

CIES is conducting a study to collect data on the use of the Cloud Cam device. We are hoping you might be interested in participating! As a token of our appreciation, if you participate in the study, you will be able to keep the Cloud Cam ($120 value) for free!

Cloud Cam is a home monitoring camera with features such as 1080p live video feed and ability to notify its customers with motion and person detection alerts. In this initiative, we ask for your help in understanding the motion and person detection features on Cloud Cam. Smart phone requirements: iOS 9.3 or later, Android Lollipop 5.0 or later, FireOS 5.0 or later.

 

Lab Hours

Jan 18th - Jan 25th, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM  & 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM  

Note: No Lab Hours on Jan 21st (SJSU Holiday)

 

Verification Code Needed

 

Please note that this method must be completed within 10 minutes of receiving the verification code message. Contact (408) 924-2601 and provide the agent with your name and SJSU ID. The agent will review our records and provide you with a verification code to complete set up.

 

Other Troubleshooting Suggestions

1) Power your mobile device off and on

2) Reset the cloud cam (small button to the right of the charging port),

3) Delete and re-install the app, and/or

4) Use a different mobile device.
