This page is designed to provide you with the information you need to get your passwords reset at SJSU.

How to reset an SJSU Password:

  • SJSUOne Password Reset
    SJSUOne Your SJSUOne password is now the password you use to log onto MySJSU as well as campus wireless and other applications like SJSU E-mail and Canvas.
    SJSUOne Passwords are only good for just over five months, SJSUOne Passwords have to be reset every 180 days.
  • Desire2Learn (D2L)
    Please be sure you have verified your username for D2L by first logging into your My.SJSU account at:
    http://my.sjsu.edu
    After logging in click:
    Self Service > Campus Personal Information > Names
    and locate your D2L Name.
    It will be in the form of firstname.lastname, but may have an appended number. While in My.SJSU also verify your Preferred e-mail address by clicking
    Campus Personal Information> Email Addresses.
    This is the address where your password is sent if you click the "Forgot Password" link on the log in page of D2L.
    Please make sure you check your spam folder whenever you click the button "Forgot Password" in D2L while attempting to reset your password for D2L Portal.
