Media Services provides in-house media facilities, a library of films/videos/dvds, and on-campus organizational support for media equipment needs.
Audio & Video Equipment Checkout
A wide variety of audio/visual equipment is available for checkout.
Equipment available for faculty only includes LCD projectors and PC and Mac laptops for classroom presentations. We also offer "Media Carts" for faculty. These Smartcarts contain projection units that project videotapes and DVDs in large viewing format and also comes with a sound system.
Placing Media on Reserve
Instructors may place videos, audio tapes, DVD, or CDs on reserve at the Media Services Counter for their students to view or listen to. Tapes are usually non-circulating and may only be copied with the instructor's permission. Copyright laws apply.
Media Services can provide a video camera operator to record classroom activities in different formats.
- Digital format
- DVD format
A Video Recording service request can be made online on our Video Recording Request Form, or by setting an appointment in person at the Media Services counter in the IRC Building. Please give a 48 hours advance notice to guarantee a video camera operator. Faculty must supply their own blank tapes.

- Organizations sponsoring conferences for which admission or registration is charged may use equipment and the services of an operator for a charge agreed to in advance.
