Professionally trained psychologists, social workers and counselors are available
for students on an individual, couple or group basis for counseling on a variety of
psychological and academic issues.

The Writing Center's mission is to enhance the writing skills of SJSU students so

The Accessible Education Center, through collaboration with the campus and community,
is committed to redefining ability for students with disabilities by providing comprehensive

The Chicanx/Latinx Student Success center was established to provide a community and
support the educational, social and cultural needs of Chicanx/Latinx students at San
Jose State University.
The Black Leadership and Opportunity Center is the hub for Black student life at SJSU.
We provide cultural programming, professional development and academic initiatives
that promote community building and overall student success.
Through dynamic programming and educational outreach the PRIDE Center seeks to improve
the campus climate for LGBTIQQA students and advocate for the respect and safety of
all members of the campus community.
GenEc advocates for social justice, respect, and safety for all members of the SJSU
community by educating on issues experienced by people because of their gender, gender
identity, and/or their perceived gender/gender identity, through an intersectional
lens.
The mission of MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center is to provide a safe and welcoming environment
that honors and celebrates diversity. The center offers support, advocacy for historically
