Searching the Video Library

There are over 8,000 videotape titles that reside with both Media Services at the Instructional Resource Center and in the Video Services non-circulating collection, These tapes can be located through a search of the library catalog. All of these tapes can be reserved for playback over the campus cable system.

Videotapes in the library with a "T" call number prefix are only available for viewing through our video distribution system. Videotapes in the library with an "X" call number prefix are located in the Media Services on the first floor of the Instructional Resource Center and are available for checkout or playback over the campus cable system. All other tapes that are listed as videos through a library catalog search are part of the San Jose Public Library collection and can only be checked out by individuals through the San Jose Public Library.
