Undergraduate Program in Public Health - Advising
Public Health Advising
The Undergraduate Program in Public Health offers advising for current students through drop in advising with faculty or peer advisors during the academic year. There is no advising offered during the summer.
All Public Health faculty will now use Spartan Connect for appointments and drop-in hours. Please see the faculty advising page for instructions. Please note that effective immediately, all advising sessions will be conducted online via Zoom.
We have launched a series of instructional videos to explain common advising concerns. Take a look through the videos below (and feel free to send feedback via email about what you like or what needs improvement!)
The advising worksheet helps you plan out your courses while you are at SJSU. You can access the forms using the "Forms" tab on the right side of this page.
The substitution form is used by students who have already applied to graduate. If your major or minor form lists a course that is different from the course you chose to meet the degree requirement, then you need to complete a substitution form and turn it in to the Registrar's Office. You can access the form from the Registrar's Website.
This video guides you through how to use the articulation website to check whether a course that you completed at another college will count for the degree requirement at SJSU.
