On November 2021, I joined the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Analytics as the Research Associate and Program Coordinator. My area of expertise is research and program coordination. I joined San José State in 2019 as the university’s Curriculum and Academic Program Analyst in the Office of Undergraduate Education. Previously, I was the Curriculum Specialist at California State University-Stanislaus since 2015. I earned my B.A. degree in history from California State University-Stanislaus (2012), and an M.A. in history from Washington State University-Pullman (2015).

My educational and professional experience in higher education has given me the freedom to carve my own path by learning to communicate better, think critically, and make evidence-based recommendations. I hope to support student success at SJSU by using these skills to ensure the usability and validity of reported data as well as streamlining processes to support meaningful academic program planning and assessment.
