Spring 2019 Survey
In Spring 2019, San José State University partnered with the Collaborative On Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) to administer a faculty job satisfaction survey. In the last 10 years, COACHE has surveyed more than 250 colleges and university faculty regarding their satisfaction in all aspects of their assignment, inviting their feedback as to SJSU's strengths and areas for growth. Over half of our tenured and tenure-track faculty completed the survey, and it is now time for our campus to discuss the results so that they may shape our Transformation 2030 strategic planning initiatives.
