- Attend the MESA Kick-Off at the start of the semester

Enrollment Period
Fall 2026 Admissions
- Application Opens: Thursday, April 2, 2026
- Application Deadline: Thursday, August 13, 2026
Eligibility
Only students meeting the following criteria will be considered for admission:
Status
- Regularly matriculated undergraduate student at San José State University
- California resident or AB 540 eligible
- In your first year at San José State University (first-time freshman or first-year transfer)
Major
Eligible majors: Engineering (including Aviation & Engineering Technology), Computer Science, or Data Science
Other pathways:
Students who are undeclared or in other majors and intend to transition into Engineering,
Computer Science, or Data Science are encouraged to apply.
