The School of Management is home to the Management and Human Resource Management concentrations. Management students are provided with the tools to manage organizational resources, effectively develop and lead people, and identify, diagnose, and solve organizational problems and challenges. Similarly, Human Resource Management students are equipped with the skills to manage human resources, strategize talent acquisition and retention, and understand employment laws and regulations. Management Concentration

This program prepares students for successful and innovative careers in diverse organizations. Students learn the fundamentals of management, leadership, and organizational behavior through a variety of courses and experiential learning opportunities.

Human Resource Management Concentration

This program qualifies graduates for positions in private sector, non-profit and public sector organizations. Students develop strategic talent acquisition and retention plans, understand employment laws and regulations, and manage human resources effectively.

 

Honors Program

This program offers a unique learning opportunity combining rigor with practical experience. Students work with a team of highly motivated students on a challenge proposed by a nonprofit organization.

Thompson Global Internship Program

The Thompson Global Internship Program is a unique opportunity for business students to live abroad while completing a project for Crown Worldwide Group, a renowned international organization with operations in many sectors and locations.

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certification
