Spartan Experience for Transfers (Transfer Orientation)

2022 Spring SET (Transfer Orientation) will be will be held virtually, due to the growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 Omicron variant.

All admitted transfer students must attend one Spartan Experience for Transfers session, and participate for the entire duration of the program. Here you will get an official campus welcome, hear from various departments including Financial Aid and the Office of Diversity Equity and Inclusion, meet with academic advisors, and get a chance to connect with an Orientation Leader - current SJSU student - and other incoming Spartans.

SET is mandatory and attendance will be recorded. If you do not attend, or if you leave during any portion of the event, you will be blocked from registering for classes and will NOT be able to attend SJSU.

Our team is hard at work updating the Spring Orientation program and will send all incoming students their orientation confirmation letter, which will include all of your virtual orientation Zoom links and important information no later than Monday, January 10, 2022. This will be sent to you via MySJSU messages.
