Bay Area Computing Collaborative

The Bay Area Computing Collaborative is a Professional Learning program where teachers work the SJSU Jay Pinson STEM Education Program and faculty from the College of Science to develop ways to enhance the teaching of Next Generation Science Standards- and Common Core- aligned content using concepts and skills in computational thinking, modeling, and computer programming. Teachers collaboratively develop standards-aligned classroom activities and lessons and plans for disseminating instructional resources throughout their schools, districts and communities.
