Course Certification
Although San Jose State is a VA-certified Institution of Higher Learning, courses are deemed certifiable under various conditions such as
- Student's VA benefit eligibility
- Documents uploaded on the student's Veteran Benefits page in Peoplesoft
- Program requirements

The Aviation department is contracted with three schools, but only Tradewinds is certified by the VA. Please speak with Wendy Hales Mora, Chief Pilot Team, (wendy.hales@sjsu.edu), to see if you are eligible to switch your flight training to Tradewinds.
