About The Campus Master Plan

The Campus Master Plan [pdf] is an essential document that guides the university’s long-range renewal and rebuilding of the campus environment across existing and new facilities and spaces.

The Plan establishes a framework by which San José State University will accommodate projected enrollment growth, changes in the future of work and learning, more rigorous and expansive research, and stronger integration with the community we call home.

Guided by recalibrated principles of the strategic plan Transformation 2030, the community participation process, environmental stewardship and campus values including diversity, equity and inclusion, the new Campus Master Plan will take SJSU into the future.
