Chicanx/Latinx Males Circulo

circulo conch image

We humbly invite all SJSU students that identify as Chicanx/Latinx male students to join us in a talking circle focused on creating a community of support to overcome any personal struggles or educational barriers at SJSU. Our intention for the Círculo is to have a space where we can tap into our cultural and ancestral values as Chicanx/Latinx males, such as the spirit of brotherhood (carnalismo), mentorship, and collective healing.

First Monday of every month from 6-7:30 pm except for holidays at Centro in the University Student Union (across from Jamba Juice)

For more information please contact Dr. Johnny C. Ramirez or fill out the Latinx Males Círculo interest form.

Co-sponsored by SJSU's El Centro, the Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies (CCS), and Faculty In Residence (FIR) program.
