SJSU Loves SJ

SJSU Loves SJ initiative is a collaboration with Visit San José, the Downtown Association, Japantown Business Association, and the City of San José. This endeavor includes symbolic gestures like lighting of the San José City Hall rotunda in blue and gold to an annual SJSU Loves SJ breakfast that celebrates the impacts of joint projects. The community and the university benefit when we prioritize and celebrate this partnership.

Double the Pell

#DoublePellSJSU is bringing together college students, education and community leaders, and elected officials to advocate for increased federal financial support to help low-income students pay for college. Over 1,000 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners have signed our petition to show their support for doubling the size of the Pell Grant.
