Integrated Teacher Education Program, Spanish Bilingual (ITEPB)

The Liberal Studies Teacher Preparation, Integrated Teacher Education Program (Spanish Bilingual), combines the study of academic subjects aligned to California standards for the K-8 curriculum with professional preparation courses and field experiences leading to a preliminary Multiple Subject Credential (MSC), plus a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish.

Successful completion of this ITEP leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, and a Bilingual Authorization in Spanish.

The Liberal Studies, Integrated Teacher Education Program Spanish Bilingual, offered by the Department of Humanities, is approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC) for waiver of the subject matter examination (CSET for Multiple Subjects) required to earn a teaching credential.
