Lower Division Advising
Lower division students (those with 0-59 completed units) can visit the new Undergraduate Advising Hub at the Student Services Center, located inside the North Parking Garage.
Student can find the list of lower division business advisors located at the Undergraduate Advising Hub on our Meet the Team website.
Lower division students can get support in the following ways:
- Service #1: Advising Appointments
- Appointments are 30 minute sessions scheduled via Spartan Connect (In-person and Zoom).
- For help with scheduling, please call the Undergraduate Advising Hub front desk at
408-924-2434.
- Appointments can only be scheduled two weeks in advance. Appointments may be limited during peak advising times.
- Service #2: Drop-In Advising (Not Currently Available)
- Service #3: Change of Major Workshops
- Students who are seeking to meet with a Business advisor for the first time to discuss
change of major are required to first attend a Change of Major Workshop:
- You can sign up for a workshop here.
- Workshop dates and the Zoom meeting link will be shared after filling out the form.
- Students with 60 or more earned units are not eligible to register for a Change of
Major Workshop.
- Upper division students should refer to Service #3 on our Upper Division Advising website for advising.
- Students who are seeking to meet with a Business advisor for the first time to discuss
change of major are required to first attend a Change of Major Workshop:
*Students interested in changing their major to Business (after attending a Change of Major Workshop) or adding the Business minor must visit the Undergraduate Advising Hub front desk or call 408-924-2434 to schedule an appointment.
Students seeking disqualification and/or reinstatement advising support should email their assigned advisor to schedule an appointment.
