Christina graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from San Jose State University. Her previous roles include Nurse Aid at the Calexico Hospital, Student Assistant at SJSU Housing Operations and the Off-Campus Housing Office, and coordinator/assistant with the EOP Reading Lab Program at SJSU. Upon graduation, she was offered a temporary position with the Educational Opportunity Program as an Administrative Assistant which became a permanent position within a year. Eventually, her position was reclassified as an Administrative Support Coordinator under Academic Advising & Retention Services; she has recently celebrated 35 years of service at SJSU. Christina is always ready to lend a helping hand. She is an active listener who encourages others to always maintain hope, a positive attitude in life, and to focus on their well-being.
