LifeMatters® by Empathia, San José State University’s confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP), is dedicated to employee well-being.

Spartan Recreation is ready to help you kick off a healthy, active lifestyle—or maintain it. Spartan Recreation has an exciting selection of activities in state-of-the-art facilities including:

FASTFIT, is available to staff, faculty, emeritus faculty, and retired staff of the University.
The program provides a place for current faculty and staff and retired faculty and staff to exercise without competing with students for equipment and space.

Consistent with this commitment, smoking and tobacco use is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor areas on campus, including vehicles and parking lots.
