Probation Advising

Probation Advising information can be accessed through the College of Science Success Program on Canvas. If you do not have access to the College of Science on Canvas, you may submit a request by contacting CoSAC (science-advisingcenter@sjsu.edu).  

Biology Probation Advising

  • Students declared in BA Biology, BS Ecology & Evolution, BS Marine Biology, or with a concentration in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Systems Physiology on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Chemistry Probation Advising

  • Students declared in all Chemistry concentrations on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Computer Science Probation Advising

  • Students declared in Computer Science on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Geology Probation Advising

  • Students declared in all Geology concentrations on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Mathematics Probation Advising

  • Students declared in all Mathematic concentrations on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Meteorology Probation Advising

  • Students declared in all Meteorology concentrations on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.

Physics Probation Advising

  • Students declared in all Physics concentrations on probation can access probation advising through the Academic Success Program on Canvas.
  • Will NOT remove College of Science Major Advising hold.
