Important Service Update

New Undergraduate Advising Hub Is Now Open!

We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Undergraduate Advising Hub at the Student Services Center. This hub will serve Lower Division Students (those with 0-59 completed units).

The Humanities & the Arts Student Success Center located at Clark Hall 244 will continue to support Upper Division Students (60+ units).

We appreciate your patience during this transition. If you have any questions, please contact us at ha-successcenter@sjsu.edu. We look forward to serving you at both our locations soon!

 

Freshman & Sophomore 

Appointments

Appointments for Freshman and Sophomore students can be made through Spartan Connect. 

Drop-ins will no longer be available but students can make an appointments with their advisors at least two weeks in advance.

Junior & Senior

Appointments

Express Appointments (15mins) can be made through Spartan Connect to speak to an advisor at least two weeks in advance.

If students cannot schedule an appointment we highly recommend submitting questions here. 

Urgent matters can be directed to our front desk at 408-924-5095 and they will assess if an appointment is needed.

For questions about major related courses and planning please reach out to your Major advisor/Department.
