Humanities BA

The Humanities BA is designed to provide students with a liberal education through the development of heightened awareness, broad knowledge, and critical thinking. A special feature of the major is its flexibility. Students select one of three concentrations: American Studies, Liberal Arts, or Comparative Religious Studies (see below for more info).

The Humanities BA prepares students for many professional programs and occupations, such as teaching, law, librarianship, social work, communications, public service, public relations, international business, and entrepreneurship.

As of Fall 2021, the Humanities BA has a new required course, HUM 95 Introduction to Digital Humanities, which will provide students with an additional skillset to take with them into the research or corporate sector.
