Jaqueline is an Academic Advisor in the College of Social Sciences at San José State University. She brings a strong background in education and student support, with experience as an elementary school teacher, where she worked closely with students and families to support academic growth and well-being.

Jaqueline earned her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Santa Barbara, where she double majored in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Applied Psychology. She also holds a Master of Education from National University.

As a first-generation college graduate with lived experience navigating higher education, Jaqueline is deeply committed to supporting students from diverse backgrounds and helping them feel a sense of belonging on campus. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, affirming space where students feel supported, empowered, and confident navigating their academic journeys.
