Rose earned a B.A. in Behavioral Science followed by an M.A. in Counselor Education, both from SJSU. She moved into the role of Academic Advisor, then as a Graduation and Retention Specialist in the College of Social Sciences Student Success Center. Working with students in various capacities throughout the past several years has allowed her to gain a deeper understanding of their goals, dreams, and struggles. She is passionate about partnering with students to develop a clear path in their academic journey by contributing her expertise in improving processes, minimizing barriers to success, and giving students hope and encouragement along the way.
