Marisela Garcia
Marisela Millán Garcia (Benitez) is an Assistant Engineer II (Civil) serving the
public sector at the Santa Clara Valley Water District (District). She is a Stockton
native and the first in her family to graduate from a university. Marisela started
working at the District over 10 years ago as a student intern in the CADD Unit while
pursuing her Civil Engineering degree at San Jose State. Since 2012 she has been working
with the Pipeline Project Delivery Unit where she has led multiple teams in the planning,
design, and construction of Capital Improvement projects. She is responsible for increasing
redundancy in the South County recycled water distribution system and rehabilitating
existing pipelines in order to facilitate the recharge of local groundwater supplies.
Marisela holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University. She has earned an Engineering-In-Training certificate from the State of California and is pursuing her Professional Engineering License. She is Vice President of the Engineer’s Society, and is a member of Local 21 (The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFTPE)).
Ellen Greenberg
Governor Jerry Brown appointed Ellen Greenberg in 2016 as the Caltrans Deputy Director for Sustainability, a position created to lead the department's efforts in developing and implementing initiatives to align with California's goals on sustainability. Prior to joining Caltrans, Ellen was a Principal at Arup, working in San Francisco and London on major planning and infrastructure projects. Her career includes over three decades of work in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Ellen holds degrees in Geography, City and Regional Planning, and Transportation Engineering from UC Berkeley.
Lily Lim-Tsao

Lily Lim-Tsao is a professional civil engineer and a 26-year transportation industry expert focused on moving people and traffic efficiently and safely for the City of San Jose. Lily leads San Jose’s Traffic Management Division and is credited for many of the City’s innovative traffic technology deployments that include a state-of-the-art-traffic management center, real time traffic monitoring capability and sensor rich technologies that enable deep data utilizations. Lily’s progressive traffic management strategies has made San Jose the innovation incubator for traffic sensor and management technologies. Lily is actively engaged in the City’s Autonomous Vehicle Pilot, Smart City solutions, and emerging technologies. She is a graduate of San Jose State University and a long-time supporter and mentor of SJSU’s engineering students. She has a deep passion for developing staff and has served as a mentor for the City of San Jose’s Department of Transportation for over 15 years.
Erica Lockheimer
Erica Lockheimer has been at LinkedIn for over 8 years and is a Senior Director of Engineering where she leads the Engineering team focused on increasing growth in new members and deepening engagement with members across LinkedIn's products. She is also responsible for LinkedIn's Women in Tech (WIT) initiative that is focused on empowering women in technical roles at the company. Prior to LinkedIn, she worked at Good Technology as Director of Server Engineering to securely manage and synchronize email and calendar data between Exchange and mobile devices. She loves the challenge of starting with something nascent and carving out the right strategy, hiring the best people, and plotting a course to drive results in 2014 and 2015, Erica was also voted the top 22 women engineers in the world by Business Insider. Erica is a San Francisco Bay Area native and is a graduate from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.
Aida Rivas
Aida Rivas is a Senior Open Source Program Manager in VMware's Office of the CTO. She is passionate about building collaborative environments and creating a culture of continuous improvement. Her experience spans working in the energy, financial services and computer industries developing client and server side applications, and driving partnerships. She has changed the trajectory of failing projects, build an engineering team from scratch, and evolved open source within a large company. In Augusth 2018, Aida co-presented, "Open Source Compliance: Reworking internal processes" at the Open Source Summit North America, Vancouver, Canada. Patti Robb
Patti Robb is the Founder and Head of Intel’s Silicon Valley Innovation Center leading and advancing the industry in autonomous driving in Car, Cloud and Connectivity. She works on amazing projects and uses technology to improve people's lives every day. She is a visionary, high energy executive passionate about developing and shipping innovative products while understanding the technology trends that will shape the future. She created the vision and strategy for Intel’s Autonomous Driving Innovation Center to showcase Intel’s technologies and built out the team and led the engineering team to develop prototypes and get autonomous cars on the road within one year.
Previously, Patti was an Executive with Intel’s Internet of Things Group. She was part of the team creating Intel’s market leading 5G Strategy, and was also responsible for Intel’s IOT Connectivity Strategy and Platform development across business verticals
Patti is a leader closing the Technology gender gap and is a champion of Diversity and Inclusion programs at Intel to help develop and advance more diverse candidates and at the company and reach Intel’s goal of a fully representative workforce.
