Applicants are individuals not currently employed as a regular state employee at San
José State University. Employees of auxiliaries are considered external applicants,
as are student employees.
Current SJSU employees are regular state employees at San José State University. Auxiliary
employees and student employees are NOT considered internal applicants. Current employees
should always apply as an internal applicant to ensure efficient processing of their
application.
