Final Exam Schedule

Classes with meeting times other than those identified in the Final Examination Schedule, or which cannot be held at the scheduled time, should utilize the "Make-Up" period provided on the final exam schedule page for the specific semester. The final exam schedule is created in accordance with the Final Examination Policy.

The final exam for Winter and Summer sessions are normally scheduled for the last day of the term.

Each final exam schedules are divided into the following categories: 

Group I Classes

Group I classes are those classes which meet M, W, F, MTW, MWR, MTWF, MWRF, MTWRF, MW, WF, MWF, MF, WR, MT.

Group II Classes

Group II classes are those classes which meet TR, T, R, TWR, MTR, TRF, MTRF, MTWR, TWRF, RF, TF.

Late Afternoon Classes

Late afternoon and night classes meeting more than once per week should schedule their final exam on the earliest possible DATE. Example: final exam for ENGL 1A which meets on MWF from 1730-1845 should be scheduled on Wednesday, May 13 from 1715-1930 (not Monday, May 18).

Night Classes

Night classes begin at 1830 or later.

Late afternoon and night classes meeting more than once per week should schedule their final exam on the earliest possible DATE. Example: final exam for ENGL 001A which meets on MWF from 1830-1945 should be scheduled on Wednesday, May 13 from 1945-2200 (not Monday, May 18).

Saturday Classes

All Saturday classes will administer final exams on a specific date, at the regularly scheduled class start time, for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Classes with Two Meeting Patterns

Classes with two meeting patterns, should schedule the exam using the first meeting pattern listed in PeopleSoft.

Online Classes

Online classes with a designated date and time as their first meeting pattern utilize the final exam schedule as identified in the appropriate section.

Online classes that do not have a designated date and time as their first meeting pattern are to be administered during any of the following time periods.
