California Climate Action Corps
The California Climate Action Corps, is an AmeriCorps service program that’s part of a California statewide initiative to address and mitigate the effects of climate change. This Fall we will match over 300 Fellowship positions with over 80 organizations across California to mobilize community members to take direct climate action through education, volunteer mobilization, and assessment focused on urban greening, organic waste diversion and edible food recovery, and wildfire resiliency. This is a climate-focused, workforce development program for emerging climate and environmental leaders. We would like to offer this opportunity to your students.

USGBC established the LEED rating system to support this vision. The SITES Intern will be responsible for helping to support multiple efforts that promote high performance landscapes and nature positive design.
Sustainable Agriculture Internship

Manzanita Solutions seeks an upper division or graduate EnvS student intern to assist with stakeholder engagement and project design for a climate change mitigation project based in San Jose at the regional wastewater treatment facility. Students can earn internship credit for (2-units of 194 or 2 units of 285) for completing 90 hours of work on this project over the course of the summer and fall semester. Students can earn internship credit for (3-units of 194 or 3 units of 285) for completing 135 hours of work on this project over the course of the summer and fall semester.
